ES AND ES (7) returned from a break last start and drifted well back before closing powerfully to score over 6¾f at Devonport Synthetic, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and is among the leading chances. LOVIN' BEV (5) was leading on the turn and fought on to finish fourth over 6f at Hobart at her latest appearance. Has a high cruising speed. Will prove tough to beat. FAST THINKER (2) was successful last start over 7f at Hobart, getting home by a long neck to make it four wins in a row. Winning rider Lauryn Bingley retains the mount. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ROMARY (1) was last at the races when she finished seventh over 6f at this track on March 29. Now under the care of new trainer Tony Vivian-Smith. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
