SANDUAL (4) has not appeared since he finished tenth over 7f21yards at this track on August 18. Has ability and should be right in the finish. LIBERTY RAE (7) did little and finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 5¾f at Devonport Synthetic last start, a less impressive effort than her fifth at this track the run before. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. STARS IN THE NIGHT (8) bounced straight into a handy position from the inside draw before finishing eighth last time out over 5¾f at Devonport Synthetic. Solid top-three claims. ROMANESCO FRESCO (12) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 2 lengths into fifth over 5½f at Hobart. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
