ASVA (1) ran on strongly only to just miss when when resuming as favourite last start over 7f at this track. Should tighten right up following that outing. Has the talent to go one better. GEEGEES DOWN SOUTH (8) finds it hard to win with just one success from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when eighth over 7f at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths. Finds a nice race and can take this out. DAYAN STAR (3) went back early from his wide draw over 7f at this track last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. Has ability and a bold showing is expected. FASHION FOX (13) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 7f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths into tenth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
