CAPTAIN TAZ (2) raced in the leading division and kept going to score by 3 lengths last time out over 7f32yards at Hobart. Will again be prominent from the outset. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. VAN SCOTIA (8) is a last-start winner over 7f at this track, showing good early speed on the occasion and leading throughout to score by 1.3 lengths. Has a decent record at this trip with three minor placings from four tries and is sure to go well. STEELE MY SUNSHINE (7) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when she was in the firing line on the corner before being beaten 1.3 lengths into fourth over 6f at this track. Strips fitter and can figure in the finish. FASHION FOX (16) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 7f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths into tenth. No surprise to see him in the frame.
