HEADSTOCK (6) ran below expectations last time after being in the firing line on the turn at Kyneton, finishing sixth and beaten 6 lengths starting at 11/2. This doesn't look as hard so he is set to turn things around. PARCH (5) is back at the races for the first time since February 14. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5f128yards at Geelong. Looks a winning chance. ZEMGRINDA (9) finished second last time over 5f at Echuca when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 0. 8 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. INFINITE MATRIX (8) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish fifth over 5½f at this track. Cannot be underestimated.
