TWINKLE VAN WINKLE (12) came home strongly last start to finish third, beaten a long neck, over 7f at Bendigo when resuming after a lay-off. Will be tough to stop again. BIG KATE (8) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when tenth, beaten 7 lengths, over 7¼f at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. KIWIESQUE (10) returned from a break last start with a moderate eighth over 7¼f at this track after travelling back in the field from the outset. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. TREASURY PLACE (7) ran a better race last start to finish ninth over 7f at Ballarat, beaten 6 lengths. Stepping up in distance this time and can feature without surprising.
