REEL BLESSED (3) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 5 lengths, at Echuca over 1m2 1/2f. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. DHARAM SHALAA (4) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by 1. 5 lengths over 1m2f at Ballarat. Ideally placed to feature again. TAIKYU (8) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when 12th over 1m1/4f at Moe. Will strip fitter and is among the main hopes. EXABANOISE (1) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing eighth at Geelong over 1m1/2f. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is one of the main contenders.
