Was going well at the back end of last prep with placings at his last four starts, the latest at this course and distance. Should be prominent from the outset. Best figures should see him run well. MY BESTIE (3) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at this track over 1m. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better. HOLDING THUMBS (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m3f at this track, beaten 7 lengths into fourth. Well placed to turn things around.
