MAFIA (1) was safely held when eighth last start over 5½f at Randwick, beaten 16 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at Wyong. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. LIMAHULI (8) registered his first win when resuming last start over 4½f at Newcastle, getting home by one length. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Jean Van Overmeire was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Serious contender again with the confidence high. RIVER FROST (5) resumed over 4f141yards at Moruya last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and looks a big threat to the top selection. MISSOUK (6) finished fourth over 5f at Corowa when resuming last start, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
