MAJOR LOOK (4) progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 7f at Newcastle after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to test this field. PRECIOUS STRAAND (9) has started twice, running a good second on debut then finishing seventh, beaten 6 lengths, last time over 7f at Randwick Kensington. Well placed and worth another chance. BANK HEIST (1) returns after four-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a eighth over 1m1f at Hawkesbury. Ran fourth in a recent trial at Rosehill. Has ability and is a leading player. MONTE TIANA (8) fought on for third last start over 6½f at this track, beaten 0.6 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake.
