RECANATI (5) continued the good recent form when he finished just 2.5 lengths away in second last time out over 6¾f at this track. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Expecting a bold showing. HARD TO DISMISS (10) was in the money when resuming at this track then could only manage ninth last time out over 6f at Sunshine Coast. Well placed and is among the leading players. IMEZAAKI (2) is returning from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Finished fifth at Hawkesbury over 7f at the first run last prep.
