DAWYN'S CHOICE (7) started at 2/1 last time but could only manage seventh, beaten 3.5 lengths, at this track over 4f. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Will prove tough to beat. DIAMOND LASS (8) went to the paddock after scoring at her only appearance last prep seven months ago over 4f at Warwick. Under the care of new trainer Darren Bell this prep. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Leading contender. BECAUSE THE NIGHT (2) has not appeared since he finished sixth over 4f at this track on May 30. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from four tries. Makes plenty of appeal. ALBION SQUARE (9) finished 2.25 lengths behind the winner in third over 4f at Warwick last start after lifting strongly to score two runs back. Will find this assignment a little tougher but is too good to overlook.
