WHYEMCA (10) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third when resuming last start over 6½f at Bendigo. Drawn to take a nice trail just off the speed. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. SLEEP DEPRIVED (7) settled back before coming home strongly to score as favourite on debut over 6f at Hamilton three-and-a-half weeks ago. Has plenty of upside and can win again. EPICE DIEU (1) got the job done last start at Ballarat over this distance after he was prominent at the turn. Has a fine winning strike-rate over this journey with three wins from four starts. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. One of the main contenders. DAWNBURST (12) was below her best last time, finishing sixth and beaten 2.5 lengths over 7f at Murray Bridge. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
