SAND 'N' POWER (1) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 1.75 lengths back in third over 6¼f at Cairns. This is a nice race and can find winning form. SPELLMASTER (3) was far from disgraced when fourth last start after being in contention on the turn over 6½f at Rockhampton, beaten 1.4 lengths. That followed a win at Bluff the start prior. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. HIT SNOOZE (6) built on a nice third two starts back at Townsville with success over 6½f at Townsville two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Finds a suitable assignment and can go back-to-back. CONVERTOR (4) was beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth over 7f at Cairns a week-and-a-half ago. No surprise to see him in the frame.
