STATE Set Weights OMAN (4) was strongly fancied last start but couldn't deliver, beaten 3.5 lengths into ninth over 6½f at Townsville after being in the firing line on the bend. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. TORERA (6) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 6½f at Mackay, scoring by a head. Looks well placed and she is a great chance to go back-to-back. ELLEVES (1) was beaten 3 lengths into fourth over 7f at Cairns at his latest appearance. Worth noting Graham Kliese goes aboard. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
