THE INEVITABLE (1) finished second when resuming two runs back in the LR Tasmanian Newmarket Hcp at Launceston then progressed nicely last time out to score by a nose as public elect over 7f in the LR Conquering Stakes at Launceston. Looks well placed so expect another big run. KALIUWAA FALLS (5) finished 3 lengths away in seventh last time out over 7f at Launceston after being in contention on the corner two-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Has a strong record at this course, scoring four times from seven starts. Leading contender. THESPIAN WATERS (6) clocked-in second behind The Inevitable last time out in the LR Conquering Stakes at Launceston over 7f. Has a very good record here including four wins from eight starts. Winning claims on best figures. FIRST ACCUSED (2) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 1m1/4f at Devonport Synthetic. Stiffer assignment here but must be respected.
