FIRST LINE (8) was in contention all the way and fought on for third last start over 6f at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is good enough to figure in the finish. LIGHT FORCE (3) turned in a good effort on debut four months ago when half a length away in second at this track over 5½f. Has not been to the races since that outing. In the placings in a recent Hobart trial. Will be better for that race experience and is a solid top-three chance. DYNAMIC THEORY (2) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten 1.3 lengths into second over 5f at Devonport Synthetic. Has a high cruising speed. Will give backers a great sight. LADY FERN (9) was responsible for a better run last start at the second run of the prep, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 5f at Devonport Synthetic. Has her share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
