THUNBERG (1) disappointed as favourite last time when fourth over 5½f at this track. Prior to that she had been in the money two races on end. Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. Sure to be in the finish. Set Weights EETSOP (9) got well back over 6f at Launceston last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 4.5 lengths away in ninth. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. CHAMPAGNE CINDERS (5) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 5f130yards at Launceston, beaten 1.3 lengths. In the right race and is a key runner. ETOSHA (6) showed good early dash and led throughout to score by a nose last time out over 5½f at this track. One of the main contenders.
