BIT OF BANTER (9) knuckled down strongly to get within a neck of the winner in second last start over 6f at Mudgee. Can measure up. BO KATAN (4) recorded his first win last start over 6½f at Wyong, getting home by 0.6 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. This is tougher but he cannot be underestimated. CANDLELIT (3) was in contention on the turn and finished third last time over 6f at Goulburn when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 3 lengths. Nicely placed to run well again.
