LITTLE BEGINNINGS (5) finished sixth last start, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 6¼f at Canterbury. Has a strong record at this trip, scoring three times from six starts. Will find this easier. Best form puts him right in this. DREAM HOUR (1) is having his first run since December 9. Goes very well when fresh with two wins from four starts, the latest over 6½f at Randwick Kensington at the start of last prep. Ran fourth in a trial at Beaumont (Newcastle) over 5f recently. Has ability and should be right in the finish. TRUE CRIME (2) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was prominent at the turn before being beaten 5.5 lengths into eighth over 6½f at Rosehill. Has never missed the frame second up. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. Group 3 placegetter SHORT SHORTS (7) returns from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when fourth over 6f at Kembla Grange. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Can feature in the finish.
