CUPID'S SONG (1) resumed over 7f at this track last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by 0.6 lengths. Will be better for that latest run and looms as the one to beat again. PASCALI (7) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Scottsville over 1m3/4f. Has good early pace. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to test this field. FUTURE OF ENERGY (9) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 7f at this track, finishing second and beaten 2.25 lengths. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. RODRIGUEZ (4) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at this track, beaten 3 lengths into fourth. Well placed to make amends.
