DAPPER DANCER (3) was safely held when 11th last start over 6f at Wyong, beaten 4.5 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at Hawkesbury. Has the class to take care of this field. PENITENT (6) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at this track but raced below expectations last time over 5f at Kembla Grange, finishing sixth and beaten 2.75 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Won't find this as tough so she is sure to be prominent. MISS BOOM BOOM (7) is a four-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Garry Frazer yard. Hasn't raced since finishing fifth at Dalby ten months ago. Placed in a recent trial and looks nicely placed. Leading prospect. PRETTY VEGAS (1) faded last time to finish sixth over 5f87yards at Canberra Acton after showing good early speed. Top strike rate at the journey with two wins and three placings from five starts and should be in the finish.
