DUKE OF BRONTE (1) was too good for a maiden field last start over 5f at Moruya, scoring by 2.75 lengths. Nicely placed to double the win tally. YUKAN ROSE (3) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 4½f at Newcastle, beaten 3 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Has the class to find the winners' list. SAKIMARJUEL (8) showed good early speed and raced just off the lead before lifting to score by 0.7 lengths over 5f at Queanbeyan last start. Among the main hopes. MISS BELGIUM (5) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when she was prominent at the corner before being beaten 11 lengths into fifth over 5f at Nowra. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
