BRECHEN (14) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out to score by 5.5 lengths over 6f at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. BLACK MINTO (4) hasn't raced since finishing sixth over 5½f at Ipswich on January 13 and has since switched stables. Ran fourth in a trial at Gold Coast over 5f. Goes well when resuming from a lay-off, including two minor placings from three starts. Bold showing expected. FAMOUS PEDRILLE (1) lifted strongly only to just miss last start over 6f at this track. Hard to beat in this suitable race. LADY SHOTGUN (9) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on September 14 finishing ninth and beaten 6 lengths over 7f at Eagle Farm. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
