CHERBOURG (1) finished one length back in second over 1m1 1/2f at this track last time out after a gutsy win the start prior. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Expecting a bold showing. VERMEER (6) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 4.5 lengths into eighth over 1m1/4f at Beaudesert. Meets some better types this time but can make amends. TOROVISTA (4) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out when sixth over 7f152yards at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot make amends. NEWMARKET MISS (9) improved sharply last time out to score by one length over 1m1 1/2f at this track two weeks ago. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort.
