JAMAICAN RUMBA (2) ran a strong second over 5½f at Ipswich two runs back then was below his best last time over 6f when 12th, beaten 14 lengths. Form at this shorter distance is strong so can atone. DEEP BLAST (4) ran below expectations last time at Ballina, finishing seventh and beaten 3.5 lengths starting at 7/4. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. GALBALAN (5) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at Ballina, beaten 1.75 lengths. Placed to advantage and can take this out. GEE BEE ESS (3) finished third two runs back at Ballina then improved last time out to score by 0.8 lengths over 5½f at Ipswich. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
