TORQUE ESPAGNA (12) finished 4.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 6¾f at Ipswich when when resuming from a lay-off. Steps up in journey. Backmarker who keeps coming. Among the main hopes. KOOLATAH (8) was beaten 1.75 lengths into fifth over 6½f at Lismore at his latest appearance. Better than recent efforts suggest.
