FLYING BIRDS (4) finds it hard to win with just one success from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 5f at Muswellbrook, beaten 1.5 lengths. Likely contender with strong prospects. ZUMAIA (10) drifted back and never threatened when sixth last start over 6f at Coffs Harbour. Finds a nice race and can make amends. VADABOOM (5) is returning from a lay-off of six months. Finished 11th at Werribee over 7f21yards at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Adam Campton. Ran fourth in a trial at Deagon over 5¼f recently. Can make his presence felt. SUPER ART (9) finished third last start over 6f at Coffs Harbour, beaten 0.8 lengths. Will be rock-hard fit. Nicely placed to run well again.
