MACLEAY (2) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 13 lengths away in seventh over 1m1 1/2f at Armidale. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. EPIC POEM (7) got the job done in grand style last start, scoring by a head over this journey at Orange after stalking the lead. Good record at this journey with two wins and two minor placings from six starts and deserves respect.
