CHARLIE MAGIC (4) bounced back last start and got the job done by a nose over 5f at Dubbo. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. PRESS FORWARD (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only a nose over 5f at Dubbo when he worked home well. Meets a stronger field but he is worth serious consideration. ARTIC PANTHER (6) gave a bold sight at the latest appearance over 6½f at Armidale but dropped out to finish seventh. Has the speed to overcome the draw. One of the main contenders. GRANDE BELLEZZA (8) scored last start at Dubbo to make it two wins from two starts this campaign. Has the speed to be prominent. Don't underestimate.
