HOT CHILLI MAMA (7) improved last time out, finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 7f at Pakenham after being in contention on the turn. Finds a suitable assignment and can take the next step and salute. GYMKHANA (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 1m at Pakenham, beaten 1.75 lengths into sixth. Has the talent to take care of this field. RICH AND JOYFUL (8) was well in commission last start over 7f32yards at Traralgon when sixth, beaten 3 lengths. Blinkers added so worth plenty of thought. IRONBAR (4) resumed over 6½f at Avoca last start and after showing little early speed closed hard to score by a long neck. Will be doing his best work late.
