REGAL SECRET (9) showed good early dash when resuming last start and held on well to finish 2.5 lengths back in third over 6f at Ballarat. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. GELLHORN (4) returns after six-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 6f in The Showdown at Caulfield. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. ON DISPLAY (7) has not raced since her debut on July 13 over 5½f at Caulfield when she finished sixth, beaten 3 lengths. Better for that run and can improve sharply. ALABAMA GIRL (1) has not raced since her debut on January 6 over 5½f at this track when she finished fourth, beaten 6 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement.
