WUDDZZ (2) could only manage 13th two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m4f at Swan Hill, beaten only 0.8 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Tackling a more suitable race so he is perfectly placed to score. FREEDOM ESCAPE (3) finished second at Bendigo two runs back but was less effective last time over 1m4f at Swan Hill, finishing 5.5 lengths back in seventh. Has the ability to put the recent run behind him. PREFERENTIAL (10) was far from disgraced when sixth last start after being prominent at the turn over 1m2 1/2f at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 0.8 lengths. That followed a win at Stawell the start prior. Finds a more suitable contest and can return to winning ways. BIT OF OZ (8) kicked off this campaign with a win then was not as effective last time out when sixth over 1m5 3/4f at Werribee, beaten 6 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
