MAKALU (4) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at Bendigo with a win over 1m at Seymour five days ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. MAHREZ (10) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time out, leading for home before finding one better over 1m1/2f at this track. Solid run last time and will take catching again. REBADGE (2) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 9 lengths away in 11th over 1m1f at Caulfield. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. ALL SO CLEAR (6) has registered three minor placings from four runs this campaign. Produced another good effort last start when third over 1m1/2f at Sale. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake.
