DOLLAR SHOT (10) was lining up for just the second time last start when seventh over 6f at Flemington, beaten 4.5 lengths. Will drift back but wind up late. Better than the last effort and deserves another chance. REGAL SECRET (14) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 1.75 lengths from the winner in second over 5½f at Sale. Can open winning account this time. EARTH GOD (3) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 5½f at Caulfield in a tougher race. Aided by the rails draw so he is among the leading chances. GULFSTATE (5) showed good early speed last start on debut but felt the pinch late and finished fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 6½f at Cranbourne. Open to plenty of improvement.
