ROYAL TELEPHONE (9) is a four-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Pakenham. Improvement to come and this is her chance to break through. TIDAL SURGE (10) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Pakenham, beaten 7 lengths into eighth after being in contention on the corner. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. NOVA LIGHTS (8) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at this track over 6f, beaten 5 lengths. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
