JIMMYSSTAR (12) made it five straight wins when resuming over 7f at Caulfield last start, getting home by 2.25 lengths. Awkwardly drawn and might need a little luck early but looks a top chance again. Group 2 winner NOT AN OPTION (1) is racing well, scoring by a nose in a in the LR Chester Manifold Stakes at this track then finishing a respectable fourth last time over 7f in the LR John Dillon Stakes (Ex Barton) at Caulfield when not too far away. Expected to be in the finish. KA BLING (11) turned in a strong run last time when he settled well back before running on hard to be beaten only a nose into second over 7f in the LR John Dillon Stakes (Ex Barton) at Caulfield. Will spot them a start but watch for him late. Group 1 placegetter CROSSHAVEN (6) settled well back last time out then found the line strongly to finish half a length away in fourth over 6f in the G2 Australia Stakes at Moonee Valley. One of the main contenders.
