INFATUATION (1) showed good early speed and led throughout to score by a long neck last start over 6¾f at Rosehill. Tougher company here but a bold showing is expected. MATERIAL DREAMS (5) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for fourth over 6f in the LR Black Pearl at Geelong. Nicely placed and expected to go well. FRENCH ENDEAVOUR (6) settled well back then made some inroads and finished 4 lengths away in sixth last time out over 6f at Rosehill when fresh from a lay-off. Steps up in journey. Strong top-three chance. DONEGAL (7) resumed over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside last start and after showing little early speed closed hard to score by 1.3 lengths. Takes on tougher opposition this time but must be respected.
