JJ Atkins winner KING COLORADO (2) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten one length, over 6f at Caulfield when coming back from a break. Sure to go well again. AMIGO (10) had been in great form winning two on end before missing the frame last time when fourth over 6f in the G3 Manfred Stakes at Caulfield. Better than last effort and is a winning chance. OTAGO (7) hasn't raced since a win at this track over 7f five weeks ago. Ticking over well with a subsequent trial win at Cranbourne. One of the contenders. Group 1 placegetter CAP FERRAT (8) is back after a break of four months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 1m2f in the G1 Spring Champion Stakes at Randwick. Has had the benefit of two trials leading into this. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
