CHICAGO KING (2) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6¾f at Ipswich, beaten only a head after being prominent at the corner. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. LAUNCHER (4) returned last time with a solid third at Gold Coast over 7f after being in the firing line on the turn. Taking on a better field but he is up to the task. HEROIC REBEL (3) settled well back then made some inroads and finished 2 lengths away in fifth last time out over 7f at Sunshine Coast two weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Will find this tougher but can measure up. LA GRACIA (9) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 7f at Sunshine Coast, beaten 2 lengths. Will benefit from that outing. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish.
