BENYATTA (9) turned in a modest performance when seventh last start over 5f at Wean, beaten 5 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at Nyngan. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to feature. MONAZEL (11) lines up for the first time since March 16. Looking to emulate her win at this track when returning from a lay-off last prep. Should be hard to stop. SHEZA RAINBIRD (12) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on March 26 finishing eighth and beaten 6 lengths over 6¼f at Taree. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. CHAMPERS GIRL (4) produced another moderate effort last start when 6 lengths from the winner in ninth over 5½f at Rosehill. Better than recent efforts suggest.
