OUTBACK RINGER (7) started at 15/8 last time and ran below expectations, finishing eighth and beaten 3 lengths at Tamworth over 5f. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. CUSTO (5) raced on the speed when resuming last start and battled on well but found one better over 5f21yards at this track. Top chance in a nice race for him. LIFE'S A PARTY (9) knuckled down strongly to get within 1.5 lengths of the winner in third last start over 5½f at Bathurst when returning from a break. Sure to be thereabouts. BLITZAR (3) finished second last time over 6f at Forbes, beaten a head. Will trim down following recent racing. Likely improver with solid prospects.
