REBEL'S EDGE (4) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.75 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m at Wyong. Finds a nice race and can take this out. STARLINK (8) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when sixth over 5½f at Bathurst after she settled well back. Cherry-ripe now and is among the main hopes. DIRTY MERCHANT (9) showed early speed from an outside draw last time and led for much of the way before fading to finish fifth, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 6f87yards at Muswellbrook. Will push forward and is among the chances. POSSIBLY SO (7) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Hawkesbury, beaten 11 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
