VIACONI (9) finished third, beaten 0.7 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Scone after he was prominent at the corner. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. CASPERNOVA (1) returned last time with a solid second at Sunshine Coast over 6f after being prominent at the bend. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running a bold race. PRE EMINENCE (6) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Barry Lockwood yard and gelded since last run.
