MYSTIC MAC (7) finished second last time out over 6f at this track, making it three career minor placings. Goes well here with three top-three finishes to his credit. Sure to prove very tough to beat. NATIONAL INTEREST (11) is fitter for two runs back from a lay-off, progressing nicely last time to finish second, beaten 0.8 lengths, at Sunshine Coast over 7f. Will drift back but wind up late. Among the main hopes. BINGHAMTON (2) finished second last time over 6¾f at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. In the right race and is a top-three hope.
