AUTUMNMATION (6) finished third, beaten 1.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6¾f at this track. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. TRAPEDO (9) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign when she made late ground and finished just a nose from the winner in second over 6¾f at this track. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. COUNTER (1) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations when resuming at Sunshine Coast, finishing fifth and beaten 2.5 lengths over 7f. Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards. PRINCESS KAGUYA (8) is a five-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 3 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6¾f at this track. Settles back early but winds up late. Can run on into the finish.
