EASY DUN (1) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Ballarat but couldn't back it up last start when seventh, beaten 3 lengths, over 7f at Bendigo. Has the ability to produce a better result. STORMSTOUT (8) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when sixth over 7f at Ballarat after she got a long way back. Will strip fitter and will be tough to beat. BUNJIL (4) has been low flying recently, lifting strongly to score over 1m at Swan Hill at the most recent outing to make it two straight victories. Good record at this journey with three wins and two minor placings from seven starts and has to be respected. SLEEPER (7) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f62yards at Kilmore, beaten 5 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
