VEGAS ON FIRE (9) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 13 lengths when fifth in a 1m3/4f contest at Sale a week-and-a-half ago after being prominent at the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. STYLISH ICON (14) got the prize two runs ago at Cranbourne. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 7f at Werribee, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. ARTISTIC DANCER (6) has returned in good order this campaign. Collected her maiden win when resuming at Echuca then backed it up with a solid second over 7f at Werribee at the latest outing. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Will be in this for a long way. TALLAWAH (2) was beaten 8 lengths into 12th over 1m at Seymour six days ago. Nicely placed to find some form.
