XAPHAN (13) was prominent into the straight last time but couldn't go on with it and finished fourth over 6½f at Echuca. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. DIMORA QUEEN (8) could only manage fourth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at this track, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MINESITE (3) finished 1.75 lengths away in second last time out at Echuca. On a nine-day back-up. Nice run last time and has solid top-three prospects. CREPESCULE (7) stepped out on her debut over 6f at Hamilton three-and-a-half weeks ago and finished fifth, beaten 4 lengths. Should be thereabouts.
