LION'S TOOTH (3) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start when he worked home well but found a couple better over 1m1/4f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ALPINE AFFAIR (2) has been about the mark without winning, the latest offering a second over 6¾f at this track. Will drift back but wind up late. One of the leading chances. A LITTLE DECEIT (7) produced a good run two starts back to finish third but disappointed last time when out of the placings at this track over 1m1/4f. Nicely placed to turn things around. REWARD FOR ROSIE (8) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6¾f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
